Lowry Building opens new Belfast offices

Lowry Building & Civil Engineering has opened new offices in Belfast as part of an ongoing expansion plan, with the company hosting an open day to mark its official opening.

With almost 60 years’ experience in the industry, the Castlederg-based company has grown steadily to become one of the leading medium- sized contractors in Northern Ireland. The opening of the new offices at Boucher Road reflects the company’s growing levels of work in and around the Belfast area, providing Lowry Building & Civil Engineering with a permanent base in the city.

Jemma Lowry, Business Development, Lowry Building & Civil Engineering, said, “We are currently putting the finishing touches to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service’s new Logistics Support Centre at Boucher Road and that project really highlighted our need to have a more permanent base in Belfast.

“We have enjoyed a marked increase in building and civils project in Belfast and, as a result, we have increased our staffing numbers at every level – from management and site staff through to growing our sub-contractor list. We have also expanded our fleet, with new plant and vans.

“Our turnover has almost doubled in the last two years and we are determined to continue this growth. The new Belfast office is part of that expansion plan.”
