BuildHealth NI is holding its annual conference on November 24, at the Dunsilly Hotel in Antrim.
BuildHealth NI is a joint venture between the construction industry in Northern Ireland and the country’s health and safety executive (HSENI) to improve the occupational health and safety of the workforce in the sector. The conference will take place in association with the Northern Ireland Branch of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
The conference’s theme for 2022 is “Managing Health in an Ageing Workforce”. The speakers include health and safety specialists who will discuss issues such as health assessments for the older workforce and manual handling/ musculoskeletal management. There will be also a Menopause Briefing for Businesses talk to discuss the health needs of the industry’s female employees.
